It is only possible to consult a database at the Zeeuwse Bibliotheek/Zeeuws Documentatiecentrum. In march 2007 a project will start, containing all manuscripts in the catalogue of the Zeeuwse Bibliotheek; see the website.

Most part of the collection belongs to the Koninklijk Zeeuwsch Genootschap der Wetenschappen. On 17th of May 1940 the Provinciale Bibliotheek was destroyed by a fire and many of the original old objects, which are described in the catalogue by Visvliet, were destroyed or heavenly damaged.
