The collection was created by dr. J.H. van Heek; in 1946 he donated his manuscript-collection to the Stichting Huis Bergh. Most miniatures are digitised and are available through Adlib. 

Eight manuscripts are completely digitalised and described and can be accessed at the Musick's Monument website. A digitised version of the Maria Magdalena manuscript can be found at the website of Huis Bergh.
